Дизайнер женской одежды, фэшн иллюстратор, магистр в области искусств, специализирующийся на дизайне текстиля, а также необычного кроя. Глубокий интерес, который лежит в основе моего увлечения культурой и историей моды, вдохновляет меня на концептуальные исследования современных философских и социальных проблем.


Born in Moscow, in post soviet era I had always been surrounded by women with great craftsmanship skills and elegance. Since my early childhood I have been thrilled by pattern cutting, technicality and tailoring. I am also touched by the memories of mother sewing, making notches by hand and crackles of the fine wool clothing cut by huge iron sheers touching the floor. I had always been dressed in the most beautiful outfits made by my mother.

My interest in tailoring, love for research into cultural heritage and history, familization with fashion illustration–were encouraged­­­ by my ba tutor in Moscow. Intensive study from 5 years old at the oldest fine art college in moscow gave me an understanding of colour, composition, love of hand drawing and artwork. My fascination with tailoring has been increasing season by season, 2D to 3D work smoothly develop into experiments with patterns and cutting. I am interested in clothing movement around the body and the feeling of wearing. I am fond of sophisticated finishing and detailing.
My MA journey at London College of Fashion developed a new area of my niche application in fine knit and jacquards. Russian climate, practicality and memories from my childhood of italian high street knitwear brought about deep love for jersey and wool. Since young age, I loved travelling and visiting different countries like France, Belgium, Italy and across Britain. Travelling has always given me new breath of ideas as well as huge passion for art, different cultures, history and developed my esthetics and taste.

Historic background and culture, especially lifestyles, atmospheres of previous eras are the sources of my inspiration. The mood is taken from literary, screen and fine art references. I play and take risks with reinventing traditional techniques with contemporary cut.
